btw, do you think the pic of O'Bamer w/ Rev Wright is any worse than the pics of McCain w/ Duhbya? Right now, I'd say it's about a tie

you know, Bush said after he is done in the White House he is going to go home and write a book. If he tells it straight, it might be a great read.
I know it is tough reading stuff written in crayon, but...... jk

If I were advising Bush re: his post-Presidential years, I'd suggest that he display some humility, something he never seemed to do while he was in office.

If he wrote an honest tell-all, they wouldn't be able to keep copies on the shelf, all kidding aside.

She didn't vote for O'Bamer because "if he gets in, they'll take over the government." I axed her if she wanted a week off in January to go to Warshington and help paint the WHite House black.

[/quote] Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Obama appointed fewer African Americans to high-level positions than Bush did. Obama appears to be on the verge of bringing back many of the "Clintonista's" from the 1990's. In addition to that, and based partly on a couple of appointments Obama has made so far, I just have a feeling that Obama is going to move to the center and oversee a moderate administration. If so, the moveon.org folks and others are going to be more than a little upset. Could just be wishful thinking on my part, but I really believe that Obama knows that a move to the center would put him in the best position to a) win a 2nd term in 2012, and b) have a successful presidency. besides, what could the far left do if Obama moves to the center? Support Dennis Kucinich in 2012? Ain't gonna happen.
