Big thumbs up in particular to Corn Nation. It is pretty outstanding to bad the huskers aren't Corn Nation is great. He does a great job not only covering the Huskers, but also the Big-12 as a whole. I think his blog is a model for anyone else who is thinking about writing about their home team. And yeah, I don't think the Huskers have enough team this year to make much noise. I think their fans have too high expectations. I'm sure Nebraska will be back soon, but I think this year they might even miss the Big-12 tournament. The conference is so powerful in 2008. I think Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas Tech and Nebraska are going to be fighting for the seventh and eighth slots in the closing weeks. Earlier I had hopes for Kansas to rise as high as fifth or sixth, but the first few weeks of action have beaten me down.
