I think it's not until 2013/2014 though. We had one with Oregon State that would have started last year but they backed out on us. That's how we ended up scheduling Oklahoma State.

Maybe they get tired of flying cross-country for BCS teams that don't do return trips.

According to CSF's media guide:
The Titans haven't been to: The New Orleans area since 2005 (where we took 2 of 3 from Tulane) The Midwest since last year (also 2 of 3 from the Shockers) [The Midwest I'm referring is the areas not named Omaha] Texas since February (first opening series with somebody other than Stanford in years, 2 of 3 from TCU) The East Coast since last year (swept by East Carolina)
We haven't even been to the Northeast, but we last played an Ivy League school (Harvard) in the regionals in 2005.

They were supposed to come here last year and we were going there in 2009. Now that's what we're doing with Oklahoma State. They weren't scared to play us.

Sounds like my father-in-law...but my son shut him up from the mound in 3rd grade!!! hahaha! He says, "Grandpa....shut up!"....clearly embarassing for all parties...but it solved the problem.

Do you need commemorative t-shirts and jerseys mentioning the first time UGA has left the South in over 40 years to play a BCS/Pac-10 opponent? Oregon State has no problem traveling cross-country along with the rest of the Pac-10. The fact of the matter is that zero SEC schools have returned to Corvallis. While all of the games Oregon State has played have been in the SEC region. Get the point.

They bailed on us because they were scared.

If they have no problem going to LSU and almost winning except for a few missed extra points by their kicker, I doubt they were "scared" to go to Athens.

They backed out on us to schedule a game with Utah. They knew they didn't stand a chance of beating us so they backed out of the contract and scheduled a team they knew they would beat.

The Pac-10 can afford to travel with football since we are good at more than one sport, so we bring in extra cash.
