Welcome to the first NIT baseball tournament! Each regional will have there own poll. Members will be allowed to vote for 2 teams they think stand the best chance of winning. Please look into this and don't just vote for the top two seeds. This link will help you (click on a team and it shows there resume) www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2008/rpiThis is how the winner will be decided. After the poll is locked a random number will be generated and will decide the winner of the regional, and will advance to the super regionals. Here is an example. The team's numbers is decided by there percent of total vote. 1. Baylor (1-50) 2. New Mexico (51-75) 3. Creighton (76-95) 4. Jacksonville State (96-100) The team with the number chosen will move on. Happy voting...

Here are the numbers by percentage for the Corvallis Regional. The randomly generated number is listed below.
1. Oregon State (1-47) 2. UC-Santa Barbara (48-61) 3. San Diego State (62-94) 4. Marshall (95-100)
And the number is...36
Oregon State advances, they will face off against Clemson in the supers.
