Yet another Greenie. Nutriaitch, I'm originally from Thibodaux, where just about everybody is a tiger, but I saw the light and crossed over to the Tulane side at a young age. Nicholls is a good school, though.

FW, I am RH, too. My son was a switchhitter who hit .472 from the left which is why I am for having LHs to balance a lineup.

If it makes you feel any better a couple of the guys we signed but turned pro were lefties . In HS I had 9 ABs from the left hand side (mostly in games that were blowouts just for the heck of it) and I struck out 8 times

As a kid, I never really had one side become more dominant than the other, which is weird because batting is the only thing I can do lefty. I hit for average a good bit better from the right side, but have a ton more power from the left.

Hi, since the season is just getting underway I thought it might be a good idea to REintroduce myself for the new guys, and remind the old guys who I am.
I am a fan of Kansas baseball. I've been writing about the team at a blog for three years now. I pretty well go to all the home games. Hoglund Park is one of my favorite places in the world.
I also follow NCAA ball in the Midwest. I keep up, to a degree, with the national scene, but with so few televised games, and so few southern teams willing to travel (I'm looking at you SEC and ACC) I really can only develop knowledgeable opinions about teams that play in the region.
I was teaching and doing research overseas from August until the holidays so was pretty well away from the world of NCAA hardball for six months there. I'll be around more now but I have to somehow force myself to keep baseball in hobby-status so I can get my work done!

Hey guys, big Tigers fan here, our basketball team is a Final 4 sleeper(at least i hope so) so make sure to put them in your brackets. I don't know a lot about college baseball but love the game of baseball so I'll try to get on as much as possible and stay updated and everything.
